What types of patients does Dr. Hindes see?
This is family medicine, so we often see more than one member of any given family, although rules of confidentiality require that information not be shared about one family member with another unless explicitly allowed.
We see all ages, for very typical problems:
- Kids who need immunizations, well child checks, and attention to acute injury and illness.
- Young people who need Pap smears, sports physicals, cholesterol checks, and birth control.
- Middle aged folks starting to wonder about their risks for heart disease, cancer, arthritis, and whatever else that could be sneaking up on them because they haven't been seeing a primary care doctor regularly.
- Parents and grandparents who need help dealing with stress from work, chronic pain, multiple medications, and organization of care that may involve several different specialists.
- Problems that we address every day include these, plus many more that are the nature of primary care:
